Description

TB-500 is a synthetic form of thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring 43-amino acid polypeptide expressed in mammalian cells. It is a frequent subject of laboratory research and is supplied as a lyophilized powder for research use only.

In published in vitro and preclinical research, TB-500 has been studied in connection with G-actin binding and the regulation of monomeric and filamentous actin equilibrium, and with the integrin-linked kinase (ILK), Akt, and NF-κB signaling pathways. These studies are conducted in cell-culture and animal research models. The findings derive from laboratory research and do not describe or imply any effect, benefit, or use in humans or animals.

Published literature has examined TB-500 across a range of cell-culture and animal research models relating to cytoskeletal organization and cell-migration biology. t. Its mechanism is studied alongside related research compounds such as GHK-Cu and BPC-157.
